Become a Member of our Association

Membership fees from colleges and universities make up the core funding for ACUNS, which supports the promotion and management of award opportunities and the academically rigorous adjudication process for the awards. Membership pledges are sent to current member institutions once per year, but this information is available at any time. ACUNS staff is available to provide information and support for the justification of Association membership to your institutional leadership.

Become a Director on the ACUNS Board

 

The Association of Canadian Universities for Northern Studies (ACUNS) has four vacancies on its Board of Directors to fill:

  • Director: You must be a representative of one of our member institutions (post-secondary and research)

Please submit your CV, short bio (200 words, max) and rationale for wanting to be on the ACUNS Board of Directors (300 words, max). Deadline: July 30, 2021.

Leadership

The ACUNS Board of Directors are committed to three-year terms. You must be a representative from one of our member institutions (post-secondary and research).

The Student Director is committed to two-year terms and must be a graduate student (Masters or PhD candidate) in a northern-related area of study.
